• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

I just looked up the Stinger GT on kia.com.au, and decided to do a build and price, there is also an option to purchase the new Carbon Edition in Neon Orange, Hi Chroma Red and Micro Blue for $67,990.00, in Aurora Black $68,714.19, and in Snow White Pearl $68,714.19. All Driveaway prices. AUD

Yet the regular Stinger GT, not the Carbon Edition in Neon Orange, Hi Chroma Red and Micro Blue are $63,990.00 , Aurora Black $64,714.19, and Snow White Pearl $64,714.19 Driveaway.
AUD

Worth the extra $4000 AUD for Carbon Fibre accents...??

Not worth the extra $4K, bottom half of the front grille is still smoked chrome so it’s only half a job IMHO.

The neon orange I’ve seen now and then driving around Wyong has finally been listed on the local dealer website as a demonstrator carbon edition. I suspected it may have been a demonstrator as after seeing it drive around a few times I noticed it at the front of the dealership but they’ve only just confirmed. Anyway they’ve got it listed at $67,990 down from $70,396 and it has just over 2000km on it. To quote a well know Aussie movie, “Tell em they’re dreaming”

Seems expensive for the amount of carbon fibre you are getting.

Never been a big fan of carbon for some reason. On some cars it looks ok but it just doesn’t seem right on the Stinger. To me anyway.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
IMO not worth the extra $4k.. would rather spend that on exhausts, cai, intercoolers, gfb's and pretty things

I wouldn't spend it either but I can imagine it would be easier to keep clean than the black chrome it replaces.

Sorry but if you like carbon you’re still going to buy the other stuff as is the case with me anyway. As for the $4k it’s a hard number to determine if it’s a lot or not, depends on the number of pieces and of course with carbon quality is an issue. All mods including the ones you listed here are a “to each their own” everyone has different tastes and desires.
