Aussie punches a Roo saves his dog ! Epic

The commentary in particular seems very "put on" and faked, made to sound more "ocker" and stereotypically "outback Australian" than is legitimate (though there ARE some places where people do sound like this, the voices in the video don't have as pronounced an accent) - it sounds like a piss-take of Steve Irwin (he deserves better and more respect).
I didn't catch any of that, because I didn't have the sound on when I watched it?! It was all visual for me. And yes, punching a roo in the face looks both ballsy and funny.

I did have the sound on, though I didn't find anything to be offensive or an affront toward Australians - but perhaps you need to be a native to catch the 'satire'.

I just found it amazing to see 1) The kangaroo holding the dog in a headlock, and 2) The guy get that close and then punch it in the head.

Didn't really find anything funny about it - I guess he likely cared about the dog, but stupid was what came to mind.

I don't know much about those animals, but I'm guessing that kangaroo could have torn that guy's stomach inside out with a well placed swipe of the leg, and I doubt that he'd have had time to react if it had felt trapped and acted quickly.

To me, the audio voice over sounded like a poor attempt to imitate the late Steve Irwin.

That's what @Manaz said too. Glad I didn't listen, then. I have Crocodile Hunter, as a tribute to him as much as my liking the movie in its own right.
