So with colder weather here, I've noticed a thud sound (kind of like hitting a wall with your elbow) occurring when I immediately leave my driveway, happens more often with turning. This morning there was 6 thuds back to back, but once I'm a quarter mile down the road, I never hear this sound again. I've never had transmission problems before so I'm not familiar with what to listen or gauge for. Any ideas or similarities? I couldn't find a similar problem in here from my searches.

$20 says it's a typical rear hatch thud....

That's what the infamous hatch sounds like?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The Premium in cold weather, as now, going down the somewhat rough highway, each "hit" produces a single muffled *thud* from the hatch area. In warmer weather it never happens. It isn't bothersome-repetitive enough to make me do anything about it. But since your sound goes away, in a "quarter mile", and is most prevalent when turning, I have to wonder if it is suspension related. The other Stinger will make a thud/clunk sound as I back out of the driveway across the gutter turning the wheels. Not every time, and with variance. It too seems cold-related, I almost never hear it in the summer time.

I wondered if suspension as well but I actually do hear the same thud if its super cold and I back out over the small curb into the street when starting my drive. The same as you, not everytime and with variance.
