I was going to ask what happened with that. The forum seemed a little more chaotic this week and could have used a bit more moderation. As you predicted it’s getting past the point of one person’s capabilities.

I can relate to what your saying, i just got rated " OLD "to a conversation , where you mentioned about wanting to wait for a 2018 build, that was on Monday, i quoted your post and agreed with what you said, and only an hour ago my reply gets rated OLD, i don't agree with ratings like DISLIKE or OLD or DISAGREE or even DUMB, i believe that is not only gives a negative vibe on this forum, but an easy way of being a COWARD, but, if someone disagrees with a post, do not hide behind a rating, have the courage to post a message why you think a post is OLD.
I understand we have different opinions and beliefs, but if someone disagrees or dislikes or thinks my post was dumb or old, i would like to know why in words, at least explain your rating, i think especially a negative rating can't be given unless an adequate explanation is also provided. at least then you can put it too bed and move on.

When i see things are too quiet or something said has bothered me, i too tend to quiet down my contribution, i think the ratings given available should be changed. If we need to put up with negative influence on a forum for loving Stinger, i would prefer to not visit again.

You're welcome. I'll leave "disagree" for the time being. Let's see how that works. Dislike, Old, Dumb, and Bad Spelling have been removed. Dislike was often selected not to dislike what the person said, but to signify disliking what the person was SAYING. In other words, "My cat died". Somebody might have DISLIKED that - but it wasn't disliking the person's comment - just the situation. It was a bit confusing...

Sal, I imagine that running a forum like this one can at times seem time-consuming and thankless.

Hope you know that we members really appreciate your efforts to launch and foster this online Stinger community! The forum has helped me in a number of ways, including during the purchase process and most recently today when I installed my LED reverse lights.

Glad to see that you're bringing on some moderators to help share the load.

Finally, I agree with your decision to remove Dislike, Old, Dumb and Bad Spelling!

Mate I like the way you think and your attitude , you have the qualities that would make a great moderator! I don’t think I have seen anything but positive and encouraging posts from you so thank you for your contributions to this site, they don’t go unnoticed.
