Apple Carplay randomly stops working for hours or days, or keeps cutting out and reconnecting. Anyone else?

This has been affecting my '18 GT since 15K miles in. It would just stop working randomly, then work the day after. Or it cuts out and reconnects, and sometimes stays on, then other times cuts out. It's definitely not the cable or the phone (tried with multiple), and I see some other posts here complaining about it.

I go to the dealer every time and they do a "hard reset" which makes it works for weeks on end... before it happens again. They tell me they can't fix this under warranty because the reset fixes it but I can't keep coming in every time it dies on me.

Anyone else got this issue fixed?
 
They has been happening to me with Android auto for years. The way I always fix it is to delete the app and re-download it, always seems to fix the issue for a couple months and then I have to repeat.
 
The solution is to have the dealer warranty the USB/wireless charging part or replace it yourself. There was a thread here a WHILE ago about the same thing happening, the port was going bad. Same thing was happening on my car, and I could prove it, so my dealer replaced it. I have not had an issue since.
