Apple CarPlay and Messaging

I have been experience a problem that I have not been able to get a pattern out of yet. It occurs with text messages. I will see a message come in, use the voice command to have the message read to me, then I will go to use another command (most often "reply") and carplay seems to just chew on the command with no response. The little lines at the bottom show movement like it's waiting for a command, but nothing is happening and she no longer responds to my voice. I hit the voice command button on the steering wheel and it cancels out. I then hit the button again to use a command, but I get the same response after issuing the command, nothing happens and it looks like she is just trying to figure out how to do what I asked.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have experienced a similar problem, but have realized that it has to do with my cell service. If service is spotty, Siri can have problems, as she needs to make a connection to Apple Servers. Next time it happens, look to your cell coverage?.

I have made texts from the locations I was trying before, but I will take a look next time I try.

No such issues here. I have never had an issue with text messaging. I used to have an issue with Whatsapp replies but that went away a while ago, while I put down to an app update (nothing's changed in the vehicle)..
