Anyone tried out other spark plugs?

Been reading around some Optima forums and some folks had mixed outcomes with HKS and Denso plugs with tunes. Some also have tried the NGK 1422 which are stock on the Mitsubishi Evo 10 and those seemed to handle tunes well.

Coming from a tuned Evo X myself, have never ever needing to go with other plugs as those seem to take all sorts of tunes, mods and hard driving. Also they were good for 60,000kms between changes despite whatever was done to the car.

Would anyone know if those NGKs or any other similar plugs work on our Stingers besides HKS?

I've been poking around a little bit my self. I'm starting to lean towards the stock plugs being gapped to far for the extra boost that comes with a tune. I believe they're gapped in the mid 30's. I've always thought for higher boost 16-18psi, gap should be in the 20's. I could be completely wrong
