Has this happened to anyone else?
Well, he's doing it in Reverse, so he won't get very far. The car "knows" this ...Over 1/4 tank of fuel & only a range of 69 miles, that’s also some serious fuel consumption.
Yep, especially in reverse...lol.Well, he's doing it in Reverse, so he won't get very far. The car "knows" this ...
Mine has been showing that way as well. Last fill I showed a range of just 52 miles but it just took 11 gallons. So not real accurate but I'd rather have it error that way. So the gauge is correct but range remaining is not.Over 1/4 tank of fuel & only a range of 69 miles, that’s also some serious fuel consumption.
Yes but I think the range varies depending on driving conditions & also how hard or cautious you drive the car, the computer calculates it on the last driving conditions.Mine has been showing that way as well. Sure it does in theory. Except I'm getting a lot better than 10 mpg.Yes but I think the range varies depending on driving conditions & also how hard or cautious you drive the car, the computer calculates it on the last driving conditions.
Wow I thought you’d get much better mpg that that, I’m getting in our speak 7.8 litres per 100 kms on trips & my computer tells me I’m averaging about 11 litres per 100 kms since I’ve owned the car which now has done 10,600kms.Sure it does in theory. Except I'm getting a lot better than 10 mpg.
It tries. I do know that when the computer gives you a "Range" upon filling up, that it doesn't simply start deducting miles/Km as you go. It tires to recalculate range based on current conditions and how far you've gone already. So, for instance, if you were driving around town and it gave you a low fuel alert, and you suddenly turned your driving into freeway/highway, the low fuel warning would be knocked back because your fuel consumption has suddenly gotten a lot better.Yes but I think the range varies depending on driving conditions & also how hard or cautious you drive the car, the computer calculates it on the last driving conditions.

I am in drive, driving down the road. Stupid car even said I was in reverse parked and shut off in the garage.Your doing almost 40mph in reverse or not moving?
Did you try the reset button thingie yet? I haven't needed to for anything. But on another thread, someone said that the reset can slap the stupid electronics awake, or words to that effect.I am in drive, driving down the road. Yea I sent the photo to the dealer, they love me since they have already had my car for 14 days in February when I only bought the car in January. Gonna take it in and see what is going on. My navigation screen keep going black too. Car is possessedTime to take the car and that photo to the dealer.
