I dont trust gas stations here in Sweden anymore. I need to test som Race E85 and Race gas like VP as timing corrections do a bit as they will do.

So do any here know how its done wo to much work?

I've tried siphoning from my tank and ran into a blockage before hitting gas, which I believe is intentional. How much is left in the tank? If it's just lower octane/ethanol content than ideal, you may be better off diluting it with known good gas and taking it easy til you've run through it.

Short of dropping the tank, I guess you could open a line under the hood (before the HPFP) and pump into a bucket, but depending on how full your tank is that could be a big mess. Plus you'd want to be careful near the end as fuel pumps are usually cooled by the gas in the tank.

If you're asking about E85 testing itself, the kits are pretty simple, just calibrated containers. You add a known quantity of water (usually fill to first line), a known quantity of fuel (usually 100% mark), shake and let settle. The water/ethanol mix will settle below the gasoline, and the dividing line will tell you the percentage.

Simple actually, pull your back seats. Drivers side is the LPFP, identified by a circle cap. I used a screw driver and rubber mallet to spin it off. Pull the whole unit out and you have full access to the tank. There are lots of baffles in there, that's why you can't syphon from the fill tube.

Ok, I understand. Tank is full so I think I just drive normal until its empty. I run E30-E60 but still I have as I think, to much timing corrections. Engines is 2020 but the rest 2018. Sometimes I wonder if ECU Tune and knocktables are different. If we look at KIA Parts web, its says that ECU 2018 has one part number and from 2019 another. I have also heard that 2019-2020 should have some reinforced parts in engine but no one seems really know. It had been problems with headgasket and headbolts if tha could be the thing.
And about the timing correction... when running E60 no engine knocks anymore, it broke if some happening so I dont think its really knocks, it is some another sound that triggs knocktable. We now that more ethanol make engine internal sound a bit different and I also wonder if the thick from the updated HPFP could be a course.
Well. now I will buy race E85 and Race gas 102 or 109, both from VP, mix and see if there is any timing differences. We will not lose power that way. I can also see that it could set 2,3 at all cylinders driving normally just and that is my proof that it could be bad fuel or any other sound or a mix of both. I dont think you can trust gasstations these days either and that it is what label says.

Please if someone have thoughts, chim in and share...
