f*ck yea! Im waiting to grab the JB4. Im about to get a custom made exhaust system built & installed, then i’m gonna purchase the JB4. I considered the LAP3 ECU chip but im a bit of a noob so i dont want to blow this beautiful baby up in a week I plan to go Map 3 though. Then eventually full blown meth injection & the sort. Lets link up sometime! I stay by the UCF area.
I contacted muffler man in Orlando about doing a custom exhaust because, although i really want the Borla system, i know that you can get the same sound & “performance” out of a custom system. They quoted $850 for a full cat-back, & thats with installation (excluding taxes). Pretty sweet deal if you ask me. I don't have to get down & dirty with my rusty back, plus its cheaper than the pipes alone for most of these systems. I know i mentioned tips to them because i hate drone, but i don’t know if the tips are included in the price. Either way, i plan on taking it in sometime next week hopefully & ill see what size piping they’re planning on doing. I believe 2.5 is the standard stock size and thats what the Borla tips fit to. Id love to have the Borla tips but damn, they almost cost the same as the cat-back, for no true reason too. I cant justify that. Although its carbon fiber, its just wrapped around the metal. Its really not that much carbon fiber. Ive looked around for cheaper but still high quality tips & there aren't many answers out there but ill update you when all of this goes down.
