As im trying to decide which catback to get for my stinger, im looking seriously at the bola. If i go with the borla.. should i get the tips? What i'm wondering is if the tips actually connect to the exhaust or do they just sit un-attached like the stock ovals? and if they DO physically attach, do they help to route the exhaust sound to the OUTSIDE the car? For that money Id need them to not only look great but serve some function as well. thanks for any input

You should look at MBRP paired with Akrapovic CF oval tips. I was $CDN1300 all in for a great set up. If you want to spend a G on tips alone all I can say is “knock yourself out”. Cheers:)
