Anyone have MBRP exhaust installed and ALSO have secondary cats removed?

I removed my secondary cat converters about a year ago to let more airflow and have a bit louder tone but I have a distinctive *gurgle* around 2.1k RPM's when applying throttle.

I was looking at the MBRP as it seems to be pretty much exactly how I want my car to sound, BUT, since I have the cats taken out, I'm sure it's not going to sound anywhere near what I'm hearing on the website.

So that leads to my question, anyone have it installed and have the secondary cats also taken off? Does it sound good at all or makes it too throaty/drone?

I have MBRP + Ark Midpipes installed with CF oval tips. Car is much more louder and sounds deeper and less raspier than Borla. Sounds a lot better in person than on video. There is somewhat slightly drone when cruising uphill around 1900-2300rpm. Other than that, it sounds great and not too loud in cabin, especially with connected exhaust tips.

Interesting you say that about that range it must be a characteristic of the car and paying another 1200 for down pipes may be stupid

I have SSR mids installed with MBRP. Sounds great. Can't say i've noticed any gurgling at that rev range. I enjoy the burbles on deceleration that you get with aftermarket midpipes.

Arks with SS MBRP here, sounds excellent. Little gurgles etc but not too much.
