so, I am researching few diff. tuners and I will never use meth or E this or that fuel.. likely not really mod it out, just 93-94 octane plugs and my current simple drop in k & n filters and 2 snorkel air scoops..

I've already seen many dyno's with JB4, and I am familiar with their numbers and Curves of the power...which is very good.

Looking to find the power range curves on Racechip.. I've only seen one and the power curve started to dive earlier than stock or JB4 and dive strong.. not good... looking to find others to compare ?
Only Looking for Racechip dyno info, please and thanks.

And advice on spark plugs... So, I don't need highest performance plugs down to 20 gap.. likely will only gap to 28-26 gap for modest mods and using a tuner.

So HKS or Denso ? or Other ? and which model name/sku # so I can find who sells them in Canada ? Only special order or can I find them at local parts stores ?

No dyno data, but my experience (i'm the same, no meth clinic or corn likker (Ethanol) for me...):
I bought a racechip (used) cheap from a member. I definitely noticed the improvement. Certainly worth the $/HP investment to me.
You really MUST either re-gap OEM plugs to .022-.024 or (better yet) install new/colder plugs gapped to .022-.024. I know it if gap is opening up/feel it under high RPM/High load.

I use Denso - but we wary about counterfeit plugs/buy only from a reputable dealer.

I've read that very low gap is not needed and too much if not mod'n the shit out of the car ? that down to 26 gap is better safer.
I really don't want maps higher than a few, but only the gts offers a warranty, and why I am considering that, though I'd be happy with model S specs offer.. I don't want to over work the car.. if S racechip has warranty too, but just less power, I'm happy with that.

but hoping to find dyno results, as I need/want to compare the power curves to see where they start to dive. it's about getting more power, sure, but if they start to die and dive to fast afterwards, you'll lose on top end of rpm range per gear, right ? So that's a very important part of the specs and what any tuner does.

NGK rep. replied to me that factory plugs are already a colder type and designed right for the car, and not to play with the gap, but he didn't have an answer for if I'm changinig the air/fuel mix, so if I do re-gap my own, Kia service manager said between 0.0315 - 0.0354. I've seen various sites say our gap spec. is a 36 gap, so i assume it should be at least safe to go down to a 31, or likely an even 30 gap for better spark, without pushing it ?

But tuning so called pros, say if have a tuner, you have to go down lower to 28-26. Some say even lower for really tuned up and mod'd, which I believe... If I stay stock, I'll re-gap down to 30 max and if I add tuner I'll go 26 lowest, as I'm not modding the shit out of my Stinger.

But, what if I get tuner, and I use map 0 or map 1 regularly and only use map 5 example, once in a while ? I can't flip a switch and change the spark plug gap from 32 to 26 on demand, so now what ?? What is a safe bet for balance to not risk improper spark when higher gap is safer and when lower gap is safer ? So, is there a mathematical equation (likely is) to determine the right gap ?
is it luck to find a balance gap to be safe for map 0 and map 7 (example on a racechip) ?
is 28 a fair guess for balanced gap ?
We're playing with fire here, pun intended, and gotta make sure it's right and safe, engines are expensive !!

Optimum spark plug gap is small enough to provide a strong flame kernel but not so close that sparkplug fouls (oil). So if you have to err - err on the side of a smaller gap. ;)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Re: possible spark plugs, what about this brand/model folks ?
It's NGK, to stick with stock brand, and it's the oem plug for an Audi RS7 ! Which is a 4.0L beast.
This plug is a 8 heat rating, and 28 gap already, so 1 level colder than our 7 rating (which is actually on cold side already), so any reason why this RS7 plug already 1 colder and pre-gap 28 wouldn't work well and be a great choice ??

Personally, not going to be doing any serious mods, so I don't believe going down to 20-24 is necessary.. Thoughts... Even our 7 heat rating, 36 gap is already decent, and re-gapping down to 28-26 is suppose to work just fine from many comments out there.
