Recently I wrapped an emblem, first time I've used wrap. It went well so I started thinking about other parts of the car I can wrap. I wrapped the engine supports a real easy project low cost and to me they look tits. So then I thought about wrapping the mirrors. I ordered up some red carbon fiber wrap watched a few vids and promptly failed. No worries and no harm done. I ripped it off and soon I'll try again. Picked up a couple things along the way like dont buy cheap Ebay wrap, get a heat gun, make sure you get exterior wrap. How to use cutting tape. I also grabbed some tools. What I really like is the return on investment. Wrap is a pretty cheap and effective visual mod. Heres some trial and error pics. Not doing it myself but taking my Ceramic Silver in for a chrome delete on Monday. I kinda liked the black chrome for the 1st couple of months but now it just seems like chrome to me which I don't like. Wrapping the front grills, side brake vents, chrome portion of hood vents, chrome portion of front vents, mirrors and chrome that runs above the windows from hood back to hatch.

That black chrome is a B to keep clean especially the mirrors. Pics when you get your car back love to see how it comes out.

Yes I just got my stinger in black and am on the fence about the chrome, I thought about just getting them deleted but also have entertained the idea of a satin storm blue full wrap, and possibly powder coating the wheels a gloss black gold. Only thing stopping me is do I want to spend the money on that or use it for the ark exhaust system?

Would love to see how the chrome delete turns out!

Yes, please post back, I’m on the fence about matching some wheels to the black chrome or deleting it, I’m leaning towards the delete because I find it looks plasticky

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
If you like the look of black chrome, get it wrapped in clear PPF. Much easier to keep clean.

the black chrome is easy to keep clean , use Megs Cleaner wax on it and it will last for 6-8 washes , spots are eliminated megs.webp

There's a problem you don't have with the real CF.;)

What did you end up doing? I just got a 2020 Limited trim and I also find it looks plasticky and it also looks like it damages easily.
Mine is White with Black rims and tinted windows. I'm considering wrapping them in flat black to match the rims.

I got bronze rims :)

I match the wheel colour to the black chrome, that was my solution....I love it personally
