I talked to another Stinger owner and he had an accident with his drive on ramps. I believe he mentioned the cost for new side skirts+paint was around $800...

Right....... I'm saying those are dealer only items, and dealers price stuff however they feel. They literally can change the price of items >20% just based on what mood they're in at the time.
e.g., I found a guy at a Lincoln dealership that just so happened to be a fan of the LS. He took pity on me and convinced the parts counter to give me a 15% discount on a bunch of LS-specific junk.
