Anybody installed this front splitter

I just ordered this just wondering if anybody has installed it how the quality is and look.? Function Factory Performance. $269.00 with 2 glossy black braces. Free shipping.

Would like to know your opinion on the braces: are they required or can the splitter be installed without them?

I had a Stillen lip that was very close in design to that one without braces and it did not last long. It started to warp and then I hit a dead raccoon that took it out.

The M&S lip is much more sturdy, does not need braces and looks awesome! Especially paired up with the M&S skirts.

According to someone on their website the braces are mostly for looks and not needed. The rods come in various materials and colors.

Hitting most any critter down low will take out most anything down there I would guess.

True, but I will say I ran over a different dead racoon and my M&S cleared it no problem. I think the warping from the wind is why the Stillen made contact, so if you go with Stillen or simular I would also add the braces.

All over. Skirts I bought used from a friend that traded in his GT2 (blasphemy I know), this is when I got the Stillen lip from the same friend.
Lip from Amazon and the spoiler and the diffuser from eBay.

The M&S lip is much more sturdy...

The “advanced” one is reinforced. The cheaper one wouldn’t be any better than those having issues.

I did a search on Philip Auto parts factory came up with nothing. Tried it all different ways. I did find M&S parts for sale looks like it's coming directly from Korea which probably takes a hell of a long time to get. Maybe you can drop a link

So I just got this front lip from function factory performance, there are no instructions there are no pre-drilled holes or anything what is everybody doing here with these are there holes that are supposed to be lined up on the vehicles front under skin, obviously I'm going toto have drill my own holes that's kind of lame. it did come with nuts, bolts and washers that's it. Are you guys removing your front bumper skin putting it on a bench to install this, are on a lift?

u have to take off the bumper makes it a lot easier to put on. Use clamps to hold in place and then drill and bolt on
