so in the morning for the first few minutes of driving my steering wheel creaks when I just start off and turn the wheel left or right. It’s not super loud but you can hear it and just barely feel it through the plastic on the steering wheel itself when it happens.
I found that the creak is definitely coming from the horn cover. I can twist the cover side to side and I get the same exact creak. I might try squirting some silicon spray down in there where the seam of the cover meets the steering wheel if I can’t find a way to get the cover off. Is anybody know how to get the cover off?
Gotta love the dealer ambition. We're going to need a bigger boat...to hold all these people that are in it for dealers finding faults and can't fix them.

My steering wheel has been creaking for the last few months. I’ve removed the horn/airbag assembly once but didn’t disconnect the airbag wires and looked for the source of the noise but couldn’t find what exactly was the spot that was making the noise. Put it back together and it was quiet for a few weeks and now it’s creaky again. MAKE SURE to disconnect the battery and let the car sit for at least 15 mins so the airbag discharges and so the horn doesn’t keep beeping. This video shows how to remove the horn assembly, it’s pretty simple.
