Any Stinger Diesel owners on here?

I am fairly new here and have searched the forums and there is very little discussion or threads on the diesel version of the Stinger. I was interested what other Stinger diesel owners have done to their vehicles, I have done the E rebadge already and see there is a Stinger remap which can add 47 BHP and 80Nm but would imagine that would invalidate the warranty straight away. Its pretty nippy for a diesel especially whilst its rolling, lots of torque. I get plenty of looks here in UK especially with the E rebadge, people come up to me either completely clueless and want to know what it is or some know exactly what it is and are very complimentary, saying its a great looking car and rare!!!

The diesel Stinger isnt available in the US or Australia as far as I know, which comprises most of this forum. Regarding EU warranty and remap, in Estonia there are remaps available that have a "warranty patch" so they do not void the warranty. Additionally most common option for tuning the Stinger is the JB4 tuning box which can be removed when you go to the dealership and therefore it is pretty much untrackable (also confirmed by my dealership).

is even the 2.0 petrol in the us?
Here in sweden, the two 2.0 trims are diesel and only 3.3 is petrol.

Yeah, it is available, the US has it as "GT base line" or something. In Estonia the 2.2 diesel is not available as brand new anymore but there are a few for sale that are slightly used. I think Stinger only had 2.2 diesel for the model year 2018?

Mine is defo a 2019 diesel, all 360 deg camera, heated rear seats, wireless charging dock etc etc. Looks like they selling 2020 Stinger diesels here in UK

I feel like diesels are always too power choked. EGR and whatnot. It wants to run free, so what if black smoke sometimes comes out.

Incorrect. The US "GT Line" has the Theta II 2.0T.

Kia has no diesel models in the USA. Diesel is uncommon in passenger vehicles the USA, as regulations make it very difficult to sell them (hence "Dieselgate"..) Mostly domestic market trucks and, of course, commercial vehicles.
