I'm looking to get the JB4 soon, but I'm not sure if I should re-gap my stock plugs, or get the Densos.

I live in New Hampshire so our winters range from -10F to 20F on average. After reading a number of posts, it looks like I could have idle issues in the winter if I go with the, one step colder, Densos.

Has anyone run a JB4 in the winter? If so, are you experiencing any idle issues at low ambient temps?

Thanks!

Densos,
If gapped properly(22-24) no issues. Upstate NY here.

Never heard of any issues in colder climates.

If your worried about starting your car when its cold outside I wouldn't worry. Plugs that run colder really only come into play once the engine is heated up fully and by then if its -10f outside it won't really matter since its toasty in your engine bay.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Just to confirm, you're using the Denso 5346's? The TWO step colder plugs? I've read about a lot of people using one step colder instead.

I suppose I could just check my plugs every 5k miles to make sure they aren't fouling. Then, if they are, swap to one step colder instead of two. But still, I'd rather select the correct plug the first time :)
