Any guesses as to when the Stinger will be in Kia showrooms?

I know the Stinger will be available later this year but are there any indications add to when? I'm going to guess September or October. I'm looking to buy something now but I'm really going to try and wait awhile because this car is definitely on my short list.

Hi Larry. I did some digging and found people in the industry saying around August this year. Now I wouldn't go betting my life on that but it sounds like good information to me. I wouldn't be surprised by either July or September. I posted a couple of first drive reviews in another discussion. This car is going to make huge waves. Trust me.

Thanks, Brian. I won't bet my life on it. :p

I was all set to buy a Q60 Red Sport 400 (I know, a coupe) but after seeing this car I'm having second thoughts. There's nothing wrong with the Q60 other than the fact that I'm kind of tired of that design. The Stinger GT looks fresh to me. And it should. It's not even out yet. Yes, I know everyone says it's pieces of this and pieces of that. I really don't care. I just like the way it looks. Price will ultimately determine which direction I go. 400hp is really impressive with a car the size of the Q60.

I need to get over to the Infiniti forums and find out what kind of tunes are available before I write it off my list. Of course I need a test drive in the Stinger. I drove the Q60 and there's not much to not fall in love with. I guess I'm still on the fence when all is said and done.

Fourth quarter. I guess that can mean anywhere between October through December. That's going to be about a month too late for me. Maybe I can do Uber for some time like somebody around here mentioned. I need to return my Optima lease in September. I wonder if they'd allow me to keep it until I get into the Stinger.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I hope it comes as early as possible for you, Jenny. I'm anxious myself but I'm a bit of a pessimist. I hate to say it but I'm going to make a prediction of January the earliest.  :-/

i would not be surprised. with all the technology that goes into cars these days it seems unlikely for anything to go as planned. i hope it's here sooner than later but i would not get your hopes up. if you want a silver lining we can say that kia has really been on a role and they're making some really great cars and suvs. i'll keep my fingers crossed but i won't hold my breath for a fourth quarter release.

Those are two very good points. On one hand technology is so advanced that it's easier now than ever to have a last minute bug that delays a launch. On the other hand Kia already has experience here as the K900 is some really advanced features. I think as long as the Stinger doesn't have anything more complicated than what already exists in the K900 everything should be okay. Only time will tell I suppose! But I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed for a September or October availability.
