Now that Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore production has ceased in Australia, local authorities are encountering the same problems as United States law enforcement after the Ford Crown Victoria was discontinued: what to replace the aging police cars with? While some fleets will consist of BMWs and Chryslers in the future, News.com.au reports that Queensland police will go with Kia Stingers instead.

I wonder what mods the police "version" will have?

CHP had some 5.0 Mustangs in the late 80's/90's for pursuit only- too small for transporting arrestees. I saw IROC Camaros in Oregon around the same time. But with all the computers and equipment they use, only see Dodge Chargers and Ford Explorers lately. And they are better for ramming miscreants and pushing stalled vehicles off the highway.
