Another weird noise..

So on my way home today I hear a noise that I've never heard before. It sounds like when when 2 wires of current is barely touching each other. Kinda like a static sound. It came from the left pillar around the small speaker area. At the same time while driving I was expecting something to start smoking! Lol Anyone heard anything like that?

... just before a fire is a spark. Seriously go get that resolved. Sounds like something shorted. Did it smell like ozone?

Does it quit when you turn the radio off?

Theres no smell of any kind. I'm pretty sure if I would take it in they wont find anything. Everything looks like it's working fine. No cel or lost in drivability. I'll keep my eyes and ears open and if it comes up again I'll report back.

I've had a static noise like you've described when listening to certain Sirius/XM stations--for some reason seems to occur mostly on "60's on 6". Does not happen with FM radio or CarPlay.

I found out what it was. It was loose change in the cup holder doh! I couldn't see it because I had a water bottle there. All is well. Sting on!
