Not a bad review at all from Wong from last week:

I think I've read similar over the past few weeks, I. Fact it may have been Won't published elsewhere, but this erring seems a bit more concise. He also references the Stinger in US showrooms at end of year....not September or October. Wonder if he has any insight here.

Enjoy.

"Kia expects pricing for the turbocharged four-cylinder to begin at roughly $30,000, while a nicely optioned V6 turbo GT should slide in at around $40,000."

Great news if accurate!

And I would bet that we will drive no Stinger before Dec at the very earliest.

I tend to agree.
I am sitting down with our local Kia dealership owner in a week to see what he knows. I find out about availability, at least in PA.

tv77, please post what you find out from your Kia dealer. Thanks.

If accurate, yes. Unfortunately it's contrary to multiple statements by Kia execs.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Based on the current exchange rate of the Korean won to the US dollar, the GT sells for about $42,425 in it's home market (not sure if that includes AWD). Since it's assembled in Korea, unlike the Optima which is built in the US, we'll have to factor in export costs - hopefully Kia will be able to keep the GT w. AWD under $45k stateside. The link below is the Korean GT pricing chart for reference:

Not yet. Had to run to Chicago on biz. I expect to connect if not end of week, most probably next. Don't worry. I won't forget. Tom
