And we will all go down together...

OMG.... I hope all the crew is safe and not injured, but the thought of all those brand new Kias , especially if any Stingers were on board, all slid down on each other, and Hyundias, or any other brands, hope to see any footage of unloading the cars once they upright the ship?

All crew ok according to the report.

The ship was leaving Georgia, so if any Kia's were onboard, probably Optima's, Sorento's and Tellurides. :(
Those are the three models assembled in the US.

It was heading to Baltimore.

Beware greatly discounted new cars with special "Ocean Breeze" option ...

@19GT-AWD once in a few dozen flippant humorous bits, you really score, like Babe Ruth!

The reporting on this is all over the place in terms of facts reported. The only consistency is that Kias were on board. This paragraph from The Drive's article is interesting:
"It wasn’t clear as to how many automakers lost inventory from the incident, but Hyundai told The Drive that no "Hyundai-branded vehicles" were on board; reading between the lines, it suggests a whole lot of Kias are headed to the crusher. (Even if the cars are properly secured, it would be impossible for Kia to sell them after they've been hung on their sides for days.) We've reached out to Kia for more information and have yet to hear back."

Also similar to the Cougar Ace back in '06. Car and Driver did a good story on it as well as posting a heartbreaking YouTube video of the poor Mazdas meeting their doom. I'd post links, but I'm still a newbie. ;)

Wasn't it headed to the middle east?
