Hi all. I discovered by complete chance an unusual oddity regarding the screensaver. In my Stinger I have selected the analogue clock as a screensaver when the screen is turned off. I don't know if this quirk exists with the digital clock screensaver.

You can make the analogue clock larger through a particular sequence. Firstly of course you need to select the analogue clock to display when the screen is off. Then you need to setup the custom (star) button to turn the screen on and off.

Once those are setup, push the custom button and of course the analogue clock is displayed. Now push and hold the power button for the infotainment and the analogue clock on the screensaver becomes larger!

This does NOT work if you simply push and hold the power infotainment button to bring up the analogue clock screensaver and again push and hold the power infotainment button. You have to activate the screensaver clock via the custom button and only then pushing and holding the power infotainment button will make the analogue clock larger.

I certainly didn't see this in the manual .

Awesome find!!
I will do this too!
(and why does it include the date? I wish I could delete that too. Just a big clock. With one button to activate. THAT is my dream.)

Can someone post pictures please

I use the analog clock screensaver all the time, this is great!

I use the digital clock and date as my "star button" screen. But I don't use it very often.

Oblivious question, one can have the screensaver on with the radio still playing? God help me if my music ever turns off.

Oh and one other thing. When you select the analogue screensaver clock in this manner and turn the car off and on again, the infotainment stays on this clock setting. It doesn't revert to the standard homescreen map.

So I did it last night...

I can 'grow' the clock size - but the next time turn on power and I select screensaver/clock it is back to 'normal' size.
I can confirm that if you have radio on and then go to screensaver - radio stays on in background. But if in screensaver and then selct radio - you get radio page.

I like the screensaver function on road trips at night (reduced light/distraction).

Great piece of info, thank you.

Very cool. I just tried this and it works but I can’t get the larger clock to show AND play music. What am
I doing wrong?
