Hello everyone... I have been researching Stingers (GT's) for a couple of months, and have found a GT1 AWD that I am interested in @ a local dealer near me (Ceramic Silver). The sticker on it is $49,660 including freight and handling. The dealer has come down to $39,000 with their incentives plus rebates ($6,750 in rebates). This price of course does not included taxes, dealer prep, ect. Here is the kicker, its a demo car with 1,700 miles on it. Not a scratch on it and drives like brand new, interior looks great as well. Is this a good price based on what this group has seen or paid? Any help or guidance is appreciated, look forward to becoming an owner very soon. Thanks in advance..

Just for a comparison, back in March I bought/financed with Kia my 2019 GT1 AWD Ceramic Silver/ Red interior and the price we agreed on was 42k after their initial price of 45.5k before taxes/processing fee/title. I feel I could have negotiated lower but it was the only GT1 AWD in that color combo I could find and had been looking at stingers for months.
If you’re financing, I think that is a solid price but you could try to negotiate lower. I’m not up to date on current going prices as compared to back in March though. Best of luck!

Thanks for the info, I feel with the 1,700 miles on it they should come down a bit more. If I can snag it for $38,000 I think Ill pull trigger on the deal. Thanks again, your input is appreciated..

Don’t let the miles worry you...you could negotiate the 5k and 10k service to be included since it has miles on it. See if they’ll throw in window tint as well.

Welcome stingray. If the price suits your budget then why worry about getting a better deal? (unless the "kill" is also very important, it is to some people; they won't sleep well knowing they could have held out for a couple thousand more) Sounds like all the "boxes" are checked.

Get with for $38,000 whether that's them coming off $500 and throwing in service or window tint or whether it's coming off $1000. If $38,000 is your number, look at all the ways they can get you there...there are many options for it. Throw in wheel protection =)

Hi Everyone, I was offered 36 month lease on Stinger GT2 AWD. trade in my current vehicle for $18,000. No money out of pocket and payment will be $80 per month after the trade in. Does this sound like a good deal? thanks.

Thanks everyone for your input, I negotiated the price down to $38,500 with a set (4) mud guards installed (took your advice Kgh). I am very happy with the deal, I pick up the GT on Monday ( I am currently out of town until then). Look forward to contributing to the forum and discussing our Stingers!...Stingrey

Sounds like a solid deal across the board congrats, nice color choice as well aha.
Just a heads up from my personal experience, it seems people have a hard time seeing Ceramic Silver in direct sunlight. I’ve been cut off, pulled out in front of and close to getting run off the road. Keeping the running lights or even full headlights on seems to help our color not blend in with the road as much.

Thanks CeramicGT for the heads up, I fell in love with the color as soon as I saw it in person!

It would be difficult to tell without knowing details in the lease and just as importantly information related to the car you are trading. Details such as negotiated cap cost, money factor, residual, applicable incentives, accurate value of your trade based on mileage, options, condition, etc.

I bought my car when they first came out and paid only 1k under asking price. As far as I'm concerned anyone who bought a Stinger after May 2018 has got a good deal.

Can I assume that lease from you? I'll gladly pay twice what you're paying! LOL
