Am I crazy- Heated Seats

Am I nuts, or does the car automatically turn down the heated seats to a lower setting after a few minutes? Either my car is doing this, or I am consistently hitting it with my arm or something. Anyone else notice this?

I think the lowest setting is almost too hot so i have never even tried the higher ones!!

I am almost certain that some other models do this however, that is, turn down a notch after a bit to avoid burns.

I've used the heated seats and they don't appear to automatically turn down.

They do turn down after a while to avoid over heating. Otherwise it wil cook the leather and also burn the person sitting there.

I believe the heated steering wheel also turns off after 30 minutes as well. It happens to me everyday on my drive home from work.
