Hey guys -

After lurking and researching for about 6 months, I finally have some positive discernment (and the wife's blessing) to purchase a Stinger.

I've found a 2020 White GT1 w/ red interior which is exactly what I've been looking for.

It IS a demo car (2700 miles) being sold as new.

With that - here is the initial price sheet I have. I'm guessing I need to try to negotiate a significant dealer discount - but walk me through it guys - I want to make sure I am doing this right.

definitely trying get more than 10% off dealer discount, since it’s a dealer demo car
depending on the state you’re in, be sure to check out how Tax can effect the deal or if you to see the dealership to buy out

Cliff notes on lease buyout:
You will need very good to great credit score to do a lease buyout, about a score of 760+
Always ask for 24 months, 12k miles on the lease terms
Start at Manufacturer MSRP, do NOT pay for addendum sticker,(dealer MSRP)
- 10% off for dealer discount
- lease rebate
- any trade-in
+ tax, tag, doc fees, acq fee (Beware of BS fees, don’t pay them)
= balance = Adj Cap Cost

Lease payment, money factor, residual does not matter
When signing the lease agreement, make sure your Adj Cap Cost is the same as the balance you and the dealer agreed to.
Also read sections 9, 22D, 23B

Congrats you now are driving away in your brand new stinger.

Once you get a email from KMF. Login, verified VIN, find and click get buyout quote.
Do not wait to buyout the lease, every lease payment you make, reduces your rebate.
You will have to have to pay a some fees and taxes.
also depending on some states, like FL (which I’m in) you will have to visit a dealership to buyout.
Also depending on which states, taxes will be more.
Read the sticky thread on the leases buyout, lots of good info.
also see my post #1122 in that thread about my deal I got.
Also there is a YouTube video: Kia stinger lease buyout. A little long winded. But very helpful.

Also looking at the offer sheet more in-depth
if this is a GT1, MSRP is not $49k!!!
They are adding a dealer markup, addendum sticker, etc.
is this a RWD or AWD?

Ask for the VIN number, able to look at the add on from the manufacture and see the manufacture MSRP

End of MY demo with 2700 miles on it? GT1 MSRP is 45-46k. I wouldn't buy it a dime over 35 OTD in that state. Demo miles are hard miles, all during the break-in phase that not one driver gave a damn about.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

35 OTD before or after rebate?

I wouldn’t buy that demo car.

Ouch. Don't touch that. I've been getting clients brand new ones for less than that. Hell, thats not even a good deal on a GT2 right now.
Call me at 970-889-9835. I'll guide you the right way or help you into the GT2 I have a client trying to get out of for $37,500. Holler at me!

I have a New (5 miles) 2020 GT2 w/ a 10% dealership discount on it (to just around 47 from 52).

Think I could get it any further down before the lease rebate?

Have you verified the lease incentives are available for 2020 Stingers?

Looks like the 10% discount they are offering you is from Kia's cash back incentive on 2020s, which isn't stackable with lease incentives.

They're trying to unload the 2020s so I'd definitely play hardball with them.

Yes. Go for it. Get at least 10%, probably more, anything over is just icing on the cake
