Hi Everyone. I live in Singapore and had great fun test driving the 3.3 Stinger GT... also considering a used Audi s5 (b8) and 435. The Stinger is higher smiles per $$ (though it costs 140k usd new here), but seems to lack the engine sound or aural drama of the s5. The car seems a little too quiet. Browsing this forum to figure out the aftermarket options ( we dont don’t get the Kia bimodal exhaust here).

cheers!

Hi, welcome to the Hive. Good Luck with your impending decision.
The Stinger is so much fun to drive and there are lots of mods you can do to make it unique and right just for you.
Only Australia got the Bimodal Exhaust as it was made here. Don't know if our neighbours in New Zealand got it too.
I know a friend who comes from Singapore and goes back frequently as she has family over there.
Car's are expensive over there aren't they ?

Howdy. The Stinger is supposed to be a high performance, yet quiet, ride. But many owners take issue with "quiet". :D

thanks. Yes cars are expensive in Singapore, but somehow thats just made them more alluring ... could explore importing the bimodal exhaust

I like the idea of spending some of the saved $$$ (vs a audi s5 ) to personalize it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Sound is in the ears of the beholder... but if this is not your only car, could do with a bit more of growl and rumble...

I could be wrong but do Singapore have strict noise control levels when it comes to exhausts or it doesn't matter ? there are certain restrictions in Europe.

Yes there are strict controls, all aftermarket exhausts need approval from a govt agency. But there r plenty of loud cars!! Ie many loud Maserati’s and loads of approved akropovic / capristo exhausts installed on many cars

im not into these loud exhausts myself, but I miss the natural rumble of a v8 engine...

Welcome Baron. Make the right decision and choose the Stinger. You won't regret it. $140K. WOW...

The Audi is very good but consider that if something goes wrong will cost you an arm and a leg to repair it.
