Let's see, we have Messrs. Schreyer, Guillaume and Biermann celebrated and congratulated for their design and engineering prowess gained over decades in the European car manufacturing environment and applied in the construction of this car, a car that probably most of the forum members would want, exactly for the value that these gentlemen and KIA are bringing to it.
What on earth would cause me to go out and try to re-engineer a car like this. I am not an engineer with 30 years of BMW shops in my resume. Nor do most members here, I would assume.
I had Ford Fairlanes and Mustangs with the 302 inch engines in the past, the Acura RL we have currently is also pretty quick, but this is probably the most powerful car I will ever own - I am of the retired persuasion.
So why would I screw with the suspension setup in any way. Most of us will probably have to learn first how this car behaves under power and it's my guess that it is better than most of us can and are allowed to drive. And a slammed Stinger? Ever considered a slammed 911? I saw "something" slammed scraping down the highway the other other day. Not cool and not very fast.
I fully agree with hej.
