Been doing some homework on my options. I don't want/need a CAI/ram intake, perfectly fine with the stock box based on other reported findings with a high flow filter (probably K&N). I'm wondering about the snorkel options available, as the tests have indicated restriction is greatest at the point where the air crosses the radiator grate. I saw a post where someone makes them for $125 (a pair?) using a 3d printer, but that require some retrofitting. Is there a cleaner install option?

Fwiw, I've never removed a front bumper but assume being handy it won't be too big a deal based on these instructions. If anyone disagrees, definitely tell me. lol

I just got the Big Mouth snorkels as well and will be keeping the stock intake with my AEM Dry Flow filters. This is the best option for my needs and I do believe it's a very solid option for making great power and keeping the air as cold as possible. Velossa Tech has a lot of information on their site about the engineering of these snorkels, so it would seem they really work well. I don't know if the other cheaper version that is being 3D printed does any flow and pressure engineering.

The bumper removal is really easy. Once you do it the first time, you'll be surprised how easy it was.

I bought the 3d printed one from the guy here and so have dozens and dozens of others. At half the cost, and they DO have a larger mouth it was so worth it! Either way the front skirt has to come off (easy) and some plastic has to be removed (easy). Some guys just removed the whole plastic grill, I opted to trim it and fit the snorkels in. I personally think the 3d printed one are better quality. You can see on the drivers side where there is some minor plastic trimming to do.IMG_20201029_172250_894.webp

Better quality, I would argue that one. I'm also not sure a bigger mouth is bigger. The flow engineering is more important. Price, certainly a win.

Is that the JA snorkel?

I was eyeing these last night. I'm okay with trimming like you did, it's not a part of the car I need to look at.

Actually I just looked him up again @Rakker Is the man, these snorkels are bar none the best

They are available in the Stinger Shop now

The bumper is pretty easy to remove. As far as retrofitting, you'll have to do that whether you use the AirScoops or the other brand.

There's some liberties of depth being taken here, but I get the point.

[the lower snorkel is being held closer to the camera, exaggerating the size difference]

These are the ones I linked a few posts back, $150 /pair from the store.
Yeah I didn't take the pic and have never compared them in person.
