For the past month, my Stinger GT2 has been sitting in the dealership due to the AC not blowing cold and a whiny noise. After waiting weeks just to get the repairs approved under warranty and even more time to 'finish' the job, the evaporator core was replaced yet they state the AC is still making the noise. I've attached a video for reference. In the video, I turn the fan's down all the way so you can hear just the noise the AC is making.

If anyone has any ideas about what the source of the noise is that would be appreciated because it feels like I just getting stringed along by the service department while they make no progress towards fixing the issue.

Aside from balky AC, your car runs fine, right? Why does it have to sit out of commission for weeks and weeks at their place while you wait for a resolution???

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Your’s sounds worse than mine. I’ve been living with my noise too scared to give it to the dealership to go fishing for a problem they can’t identify. My noise sounds like a bad ball bearing spinning so the plan is to order and swap out the blower motor. Your noise sounds more like a compressed air leak or maybe its just my iphone speakers

pretty much, I had the car sitting there while individual procedures were getting approved by KIA corporate (which would take even longer due to COVID) the car sat with the entire dash in pieces. They had dismantled everything and then had to get the green light for a bunch of random parts and procedures one at a time. I was told they tried everything from O-rings, hoses, and the entire evaporator core. It's not like I could drive it in the downtime while waiting for a next step to get approved because the car interior looked like it had a grenade go off...
