Aftermarket H pipe?

I think you might be right lol I have stock primary and ark midpipe. Most likely am not going to bother anyway.

The way it is now is literally near perfect. Can fully close or open valve with the apr wireless controller. I pretty much leave it open unless i get on the freeway usually when I close to get a quieter ride. I don't like the stock behavior of the borla active with valves closed on cold starts. I want my neighbors to feel my wrath!

Ofcourse man NP, If you want a deeper sound and reduce rasp drastically then give the H pipe a shot. Very cheap. I paid $250 for them to make the pipe and also install. He also fixed some leaks in the exhaust behind the muffler too.

No drone, but I have resonator and aftermarket tips installed.

Did you have the resonators on before or after the H pipe ? I just did my downpipes with the HFC and I'm looking at something to help with that damn drone ! I also have the mprb evc cat back.

Ok so I did the cat back before installing MBRP resonators. Had insane drone so I decided to get the resonators to replace stock ones. In terms of drone I’d say it reduced it by like 20-30% but it was still there but it also made the exhaust more quite at high rpms - then I installed tips that extended past the diffuser and THAT completely reduced the drone by a LOT. I did the H pipe to help with the annoying high pitch and the insane rasp from the hfc downpipe. Which it helped quite a bit. Rasp reduction felt nearly 80%.

Hmm i am visiting an exhaust shop today i am going to ask them. Would be very curious to see how it would sound with the borla active but yeah i think you right. It would make it sound meaner. Should be fairly easy to try out. Probably will have to try it sometime later as I've spend far too much lately lmao.

I second that ! If it sounds right I'd trade the mprb for the borla !
