Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my Exhaust on my Stinger GT2 2019. What in looking for is people who have had an expierence with the sound of a specific exhaust, I want something that sounds smooth but doesnt disturb the sound within the vehicle in order to keep the quality of sound comming from my speakers undisturbed.

I actually did but it's not in one thread so I'm not sure if I missed some or not so I figured I'd post this and than the things that people post I'll consolidate into the OP

I know the search functionality here isnt great !

Yes, the search function is rubbish. Try Googling "site:stingerforum.org cat back" You'll get a ton of results from this site.

Examples:
  1. Exhaust Comparison Chart
  2. Stillen Cat back
  3. X Force Varex Cat Back System
  4. MBRP Catback + Secondary Downpipes
  5. Stinger Borla S-Type Cat-Back Exhaust
Also, just search YouTube. There are a lot of examples of exhaust systems out there.

I've got the Borla S-Type system. It's definitely not the quietest, but with some trunk insulation, it gives a nice rumble when you stand on it without being too loud otherwise.

YouTube search it. I was kidding. Your neighbors would want to murder you
I've searched, there is not 2019 GT2 Stingers that I could find with different exhaust systems.

Maybe instead of trolling you guys could be helpful and post the links since obviously i either one didnt want to research it or two researched it and couldnt find what i wanted.

Thanks for the reply and links, I will look at these once I get home, I'm a noob with cars but doesnt each exhaust get manufactured for the specific car so a borla for one car will sound different than another car? Cus I couldnt find any for my car, except the borla which I thought was to loud for my tastes, I want something that isnt going to vibrate my car into its grave.

No worries. Exhaust tone is really a personal taste thing, so I'm not sure what you're looking for exactly. You'll just have to search, read, and watch videos like the rest of us until you find one you like. You could always try and see if there is someone in your area with a specific system to hear it in person.

There was a list on the first link I sent with various opinions, I'd start there.

A 2 second Google search....

It’s a matter of preference. I installed the S-Type Borla on Monday and I love it. I don’t have any “vibrations”. I spent a lot of time on YouTube before ordering my Borla.

ORRRR....you could do it all for him, tell him which one to buy, order it, and have it shipped to a mechanic of YOUR choosing so he isn't forced to take any personal initiative!

Jesus, I was born in the wrong century!

@Anden L Schmitt - these are probably the best thread share as well as this thread which is the Aftermarket-exhaust-information-and-discussion thread put as a sticky.

I have the MBRP exhaust and loving it, not obnoxious, sounds deep and beefier than stock and no drone - there is a video on my thread too

Cheers

Thermal is a good exhaust if you want deep and a bit louder than stock. Magnaflow seems to be the quietest but not much louder than stock. Borla exhausts are more aggressive and significantly louder than stock, some complain of bad drone in the cabin. I have the Thermal and like it a lot.

Stillen is not quiet by any means, disregard those claiming so. It’s hard to judge how an exhaust will sound based on a YouTube video. Hearing it in person will prove much different results. I have the Stillen catback and it is very obviously louder than stock. It isn’t overbearing though. Pick one you like and run with it
