Had this installed today, I have already noticed how much more the throttle response is & the car is breathing a lot more freely.
The only issue with fitment was the RHD drivers side filter housing didn’t fit due to the bonnet release cable bracket jammed up against it, drilled two holes in the housing it then fitted fine.

Ordered the kit but they are on backorder till late August....

Was there a noticeable difference in sound on acceleration vs the stock system or does it sound the same?

There was a little difference but not like other systems, as the filters are fully enclosed they are still more like OE.

Finally got mines in and I agree that throttle response in the low torque range woke up. Not much of a big difference in noise. Solid proper intake as opposed to injen imo.

Nice, yes throttle response is improved & they are a good quality kit glad you like it. Not too fussed on noise so I’m good with the way it is, IMO it totally suits the style of this car.

I agree . Not big on the whole whoosh sound either but the subtle sound gives it the setup for a sleeper.

How's the BOV noise with this kit? Is it more than stock?

Are Afe intakes the new injens now lol ? Or too early to confirm ? See alot of ppl on backorder for these. Glad I knew about them and for sure wanted them when they released.

I’m the same, I wanted these the minute I saw them, luckily for me a stockist here in Sydney had just received 3 sets & I believe I’m the first Stinger owner in OZ to have them fitted.

Well I bought them for the look, so much better than OE ones, the manufacturer claims power gain of 25hp (18kW) so I’m not sure but as I said before I have notice improvement in throttle response & the engine seems to breath easier.

im hoping for a little "woosh" over stock but i dont wont the loudness of the open elements. we'll see.
