Hey everyone,

Recently got Adro's V3 spoiler and got quoted $800 for installation since it requires drilling (just two holes). Not many credible shops that I know of in my area (phoenix, az) and this place has worked on my car before, but $800 seems a little steep.

Does this price seem reasonable or does anyone know of any good paint/body shops in the area that could install this?

$800??? Is that paint and install?
I had a fiberglass spoiler put on my truck a few years back. They had to drill more than 2 holes because it didn't line up the way it was supposed to. Painted it and installed it for $150 total. Granted, total different vehicle and I'm not in your area but that was paint AND install. $800 seems like you gettin taken to the cleaners.

It's carbon fiber so no paint just install! Yeah I thought it was a little absurd lol, luckily found someone else that can put it on for way less and without having to outsource the job.

Btw that spoiler looks great!!

Haven't picked up the car yet but the spoiler's on! He said it wasn't difficult to install, just time consuming with the removable trunk panel being bolted and glued on from factory + having to remove the liner on the inside. Not sure if it's all that functional but it looks sick!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
That’s pretty damn cool! I guess it’s bolted through the plastic and into the metal part of the hatch? I wouldn’t imagine it would increase lift, but I’m no aerodynamics expert. Probably adds some drag at some point. I wonder if it would hold up nicely at 140 mph??? Damn that’s pricey though! Congrats. Won’t see many of those around.

That's what I'm assuming! Thank you I appreciate it :) and thank god for affirm lol

Update on this post-install:

There's a little bit of a rattle/shaking sound when driving on uneven roads coming from the lip that has to be taken off of the hatch to bolt the spoiler into because of the tension coming from the shape of the spoiler, lifting the outter edges by the tail lights up slightly. Still mounted tightly & no issues or signs up lifting weeks later (bonus: goes away when you turn the A/C and volume up)
