Brought home my Ceramic Silver/Red GT2 last Wednesday and already modded her to the moon in my head, so time to get started IRL. Seems like tons of great info here - looking forward to diving in head first.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your Stinger GT! What did the Stinger replace for you? Are you thinking about "go faster" mods like the JB4?

Traded in a highly modded, lifted Nissan Frontier Pro-4X on the Stinger, so pretty much a complete flip in vehicle dynamics LOL Would have liked to have kept the Fronty and just added the Stinger to the stable but having one car, much less two, in San Francisco is tricky enough to manage so the Fronty had to go. She will be missed but we had a good run, and it's time to start a new and different good run!

I've already got a set of Eibach sway bars and K&N drop in filter plates on order and I'm trying to decide on a catback - not big on noise or drone, but would really dig at least a little growl/burble and a power bump so I've been trying to find dyno numbers, or even estimates, for the Magnaflow, and I'm sort of eyeing the Stillen as well. That said, I've seen references on this site to problems with Stillen but haven't seen the details so I'm reserving judgment on them pending further details, but their published dyno (marketing? :D) numbers are encouraging, if maybe a touch...optimistic, and the sound clip vids I've seen seem pretty unoffensive to me. Needless to say the research has only just begun but I'm hoping to have a catback on order before the end of the month in any case.

If I wasn't in CA the JB4, as well as downpipes and a CAI (probably the AEM...? spoiled for choice on that front too LOL), would be on the "already ordered" list as well. The JB4 looks like an awesome tuner and I'm not ashamed to say I'm straight up jealous of the folks living out there in the real world who are actually able to run them. Ahhhh California...the longer I live here the more I miss the brutal winters and high taxes of New England...

So that's my story and I'm sticking to it :D Thanks for the warm welcome, and I'm looking forward to the upcoming new and different good run!

And if you couldn't tell by now I tend to get a bit...loquacious on these forums (cars, trucks, motorcycles...). I'll try to keep from rambling on and on (and on) but can't make any promises.

Hi. I'll back off, let you catch up, and then we'll see who is the most garrulous. ;) I'm retired, so unless you can match my amount of "time off", you might have your work cut out for you. Haha.

Seriously, though, the most active posters tend to be modders. So you should be right at home.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

"Semi" retired and self-diagnosed mod addict here, so challenge accepted! You may have a slight edge here, but time will tell if I'm up to the task... :D

Post count has to include content. Anybody can tap out one liners, or one word posts. Boo. Hiss. :P  Being a modder, I'm sure you'll have tons more to talk about than I do. My fate is virtually sealed. But it will take time.
