Ha! I didn't know there was a dealer section, so thank you for that. StingerForum has thought of everything evidently! I'm not sure what the lease cash is with this program (maybe nothing?), so it's nice to see a number towards the invoice. Ironic, Power Kia. I just stopped by there two weeks ago (I'm from the Portland area). Need to look you guys up when I'm in the market. ; ) Will be a while however. Would be the most expensive car I've ever purchased. 24k miles a year driving, so leasing is off the table. Personally, I only purchase, never rent depreciating assets so then there is that also. But I have used Power Mazda to service my Mazda6 and they've been great, so I'll assume the same for Power Kia having the same great service.

I've test have test driven the 2.0L Premium and GT 2 AWD. Wow, sold on the GT, but will look for a base GT w/Safety package, that's good enough for me. Thanks Dave.

You're welcome Mark! I really enjoy working for Power. I was initially afraid of working for a car dealership because I don't enjoy employing shady tactics, but it has been an absolute pleasure working here.

Lease cash on the base model is $5,000 so this special is actually $6,915 off MSRP. I think I need to edit the ad when I get into work tomorrow, it currently only says $5,228 off.

Whenever we have a car on lease special we will also apply the same discount to a purchase. So we would also sell this car for $30,990 before rebates. (MSRP is $32,905). Just something to keep in mind when it comes time to purchase your GT, maybe we'll have one on special! I think my manager is just trying to keep the specials to the 4 cylinder models for now but we'll see what the future brings.

I've been reading quite a bit (Automotive News) which is an inside the ballpark publication, but it is interesting see how the auto makers have been pushing dealerships more and more into almost a franchise-like system, where they hold all the cards. Pushing more and more for XYZ sales per month (or quarter) with a bonus structure. So forget about giving away cars, because if you make the total sales volume you'll be rewarded. But miss that number by 1 car, and nodda. Wow, how difficult a situation to be in. Lots of pressure. But nice to see Power treating the employee and customer right.

And yes, change that add ASAP!!!

Dave, any chance a similar program exists for the RWD GT?

We only have a base at the moment but that's not to say we won't have a GT on sale in the future. We have no dealer markup and are of course open to negotiation or offers if you're looking to get a GT into your hands.

Our Light up the Night event is on Feb 20 as well if you're able to make it. We'll have some discounts on the Stinger for people that attend.
