Accessories for Kia Stinger in Heavy Snow

Canada? I've heard reports of tainted poutine. Is this true?:p

That's an Eastern Canada thing , The thought of French Fries smothered in gravy and cheese curds is slightly disgusting to me personally ,,,,,,,,,,,,and not something the whole country should be labelled with as owning ..............

I stand corrected.

I went with the Tuxmat. My Stinger has a black interior, and these mats are awesome. They protect everything (I'm in Ottawa Canada) and look great.

The dealer gave me a set of the all weather OE mats when I bought the stinger. It already had the other mats in it. The kia mats fit well, never going to refuse something for free!

You removed the carpet mats first, is that right? It says right on the rubber mats to NOT lay them over the other mats.

Off topic but did anybody install 3rd party remote starts for their stinger. If so what brand ive been looking at couple options like drone and viper. I heard the oem one sucks as it doesn't take over. Crazy that the stinger doesn't come with this feature. I know people's civic that does this.

Just did this 2 weeks ago! Got a Compustar 2 way system, my 4th overall, and the same exact model my wife has had on her 19 Imprezza for almost 2 years. Nothing but perfection and total cost was $270 from Best Buy on sale, including install.

Note that their installation people's experience will vary, but I've had nothing but many year experts that do excellent work. The guy that just did mine in Janesville, WI, has been installing remote start, alarm, and audio car equipment since 1985. Needless to say, he did an amazing job.

Does that turn on other things like heated seats and mirrors or just the engine. Cause I want my car to be toasty in the winter. That's prob the main reason I want it installed since im coming from a car that had it.

No control of anything but the cars starter, lock unlock, and trunk open (guessing you have to have the GT2 for this, though may just pop it if not the auto open one). That may be possible with another system though I'm not certain.

My 2020 came with the OE one. While I haven't tried it, maybe you could leave the environmental amenities on when you depart and they will come on as left...as it's my garage queen, I generally don't leave it parked anywhere for very long! I've had former "decent" vehicles accosted in some parking lots. And I didn't always believe it was the wind that pushed the "steel buffalo" into my door, fender...etc.

This is what I've done for years, just leave it at a moderate heat or cooling level and it's perfect in my opinion.
