Guys, after a year and a half of watching and reading every car review i can on the stinger GT, my 2019 micro blue beast arrived today. I saw the car today and drove it a bit but i have to wait till after the weekend to pay the customs and have it registered. The car looks f*cking amazing and i am in love and the wait tomorrow will be the longest Sunday ever. I will post some pics once i get the car.

There is one minor gripe i found tho. When holding the drive by wire shifter i noticed the top leathery half of the shifter knob is kinda wobbly, like its slightly detached from the bottom of the knob. It has a very slight travel but it kinda bugs me. Anyone else had this problem? Is it possible to change only the knob for a new one? The car is slightly used, it has 8500km and is bought from a Kia dealership i n Germany where it was used as a test car. Everything looks completely brand new apart from that wobbly shifter knob.

Fascinating. "Customs": where did you have this German Stinger shipped to?

Yes, you can swap out the shifter knob; people do it all the time; especially those who have the GT/GT1 "T" shifter (which I happen to like): which is probably why you don't have it? Can't say how the trims in Europe dealt with the "T" shifter.

I live in Croatia and i imported the car from Germany. We have a special tax in Croatia that we pay for vehicles based on the year it was built in and co2 emissions. It is pretty high but i had to pull the trigger. The trim in europe is called just GT. This one comes with everything and the shifter is from the GT2 trim, shift by wire not the T shifter. Everything shifts fine it's just the top part of the knob that dances a bit, weird.

Welcome to the forum and congrats. My knob is nice and tight.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
They told me on the fb group that the shifter cover is detachable and it hides the electronics. People change it for carbon fiber options. I will check out if the cap didn't sit right and if it's not fixable i will just order a new one. Guarantee should probably handle it.
