Guys, I'm installing a dash cam that mounts at the base of the windshield and I need to remove the A pillar cover to run the wires to the fuse panel.

I've read through the posts that talk about this on here but haven't found any info on how to release the upper two stage clip. I've got the cover to the point where it can be un-clipped from the cover but I don't want to screw something up so I figured I'd ask.

Don't take it all the way off, just pull it off to the first stage, then grab some wire or a zip tie and make sure you go on the outside of the airbag and pull it through. It's pretty simple. Just give it a yank or use a couple plastic trim removal pieces to help pop it off.

I have to take the cover off to get the wiring to the fuse panel. My camera mounts at the base of the windshield and the wire runs along the gap between the dash and the base of the window.Waylens-Secure360-8199-2.webp

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
When I ran my wires I didn't need to fully remove it, I had enough at the first stage pulled out to push the wire behind it without any issue.
