I’m not seeing any AFR’s....I’d want to see AFR’s.

the two major players that have seen the best power is the race chip and the lap3. tork on youtube is getting some real headway with his car. granted, 700+horse is not conducive for longevity, but in my case with the racechip, a solid 80 horse with the cai and the velocity stacks can't be beat. figure some sort of exhaust in the near future and I will be good. we, mrs and I, purchased this as it was intended, a gt. we have a monster car that will melt the rears if we look at it cross eyed, so the need for huge amounts of horsepower from the stinger wasn't on the cards for us.

I don't get why they would use RaceChip lol. They need a JB4! Expect to see a lot of base flash maps like this pouring out though the tools are out there. Just a matter of time before someone steps up with OBDII flashing at home. And then we can really take the platform to the next level!

well, when I purchased my stinger, racechip was, if I remember correctly, the second one that came on the market. I think lap was first. then presser came on board. I took that plunge and bought the race chip. and honestly, I am satisfied. nothing has ever gone wrong, it pulls big time, and with the cai and velocity stacks installed, it's a beast. now watch, an asteroid is going to fall on my stinger because something in the race chip unit is pulling it out of its orbit around pluto.

The major player in the game has and probably always will be BMS and the JB4.

I don't think there are many around still running LAP3 Uncles. LAP3 has progressed to their "Pro" tune.

There also aren't many people using RaceChips anymore. Most likely because of the cost and lack of on going development. When did you buy it? I got my JB4 in March. If I remember correctly that's about the same time RaceChip came along.

No it's fine, their product is similar to all the other 2-channel tuner box products out and they dump a lot in advertising so new people tend to find them first and purchase. It's just really limited compared to say a JB4. But the point of my post was that the JB4 has features specifically designed to work WITH flash mapping, and advanced logging tools a flash tune owner generally needs, so it's the obvious choice to pair with a flash map.
