Hope everyone is enjoying their weekends - I sure am!

I'm delighted to say I traded in my 2011 3.8 GT Genesis Coupe for a 2018 Kia Stinger Ceramic Silver GT2 AWD w/ all the goodies you can imagine! I've been car shopping for a few years and the stinger is a sure choice in my book!

Unfortunately, like many others - I've had to keep my new vehicle at the dealership for some time to deal with many of the "first year model" nuisances. And by some time I mean nearly 3 weeks.

That is not to say my ownership experience isn't impressive thus far! I purchased the car back at the end of July and turned it in for repairs/service 2 weeks later.

Kia Motors Consumer affairs has been extremely helpful in assisting me on the issues! I couldn't be more thrilled! I know I'm rolling the dice by buying a first of it's kind car but the stinger has won me over and i'll embrace the journey ahead!

G’day & welcome to the forum, sorry to hear your troubles in such a short time but what problems did you have?

Welcome aboard and congratulations!!

Congrats and welcome! What sort of trouble did you experience?

Thanks everyone!

I had a bit of paint peel by the driver side headlight. Also by the driver side door sill had a paint chip. Headlights were misaligned with the front bumper. And the rear seats had indentations (my guess from folding them down).

I've noticed hyper sensitive reverse sensors & "cracking/popping" noises when playing audio - either radio or itunes.
None of those issues I've mentioned to the dealership yet. Figured they would fix themselves over time

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
