Hey all,
My A/C recently stopped working, the light on the climate control says its on but the fan behind the radiator doesn't turn on and the clutch doesn't engage on my compressor.
I have checked the blower relay and all the fuses related and cant find any issues.
Is the blower relay the correct relay or is there another relay somewhere? I checked all the relays in the main fuse box just to be sure and they are all fine.
Im wondering if there is some signal not being sent from the computer controlled system to engage the compressor and front fan.
My diagnostic machine wont actuate anything it just shows the a/c compressor is off and it shows no errors....anyone else had any odd experiences like this with the a/c?

Edit: So after inspection if this compressor does have a clutch it is stuck on and Im pretty sure it does.
My pully and inner clutch spins whether the A/C is engaged or not so unless this has an inner clutch I would say the compressor is toast.

Yup..seen this before on other cars we had.

I had the car to the dealer, turns out our compressors have internal clutch.
The car was in for the passenger mirror almost having no function and the AC, they said they replaced the mirror and it still didn't work but they didn't have time to chase the non power to the mirror controller ( even though I waited 4 hours there ) as well its my evaporator core that needs to be replaced in the AC...waiting on warranty approval.
However since they already had the approval for the mirror I went ahead and chased the power issue to the connector at the mirror, the power pin in the door harness was burnt off and the wire pulled easily from the connector....I simply jumpered the connector with a new wire and the mirror works perfectly now.
It seems the gauge of the pins are so small they burn before the fuse will even fail.....good design.
My camera was also giving me blue screen to that side so I might need to jumper the power to the camera as well but a clean and dielectric grease seemed to solve it.....the connectors are complete crap.

Update: Turns out it was my evaporator core.....extended warranty agreed to cover it but the core is back ordered for KIA Canada until end of August.
I negotiated with them and they agreed to pay for labor on an outsourced part as long as it was the Genesis G70 core (exactly the same part and part #) which I need to supply without reimbursement. Part number is 97139-J5000 for either the KIA or the Hyundai/Genesis evaporator core, list price of 485 CAD. However my local Hyundai dealer is super helpful and found the warranty replacement core which is the same part and number with QQH at the end for 118.82 CAD....quite the price difference for the lesser expensive updated part.
Note for anyone who needs to do the same at some point.
All my mirror issues I fixed by jumpering the positive in the connector to the mirror control and havent had any issues since.
