Just got back from a 3,600 mile trip from South Texas to Salt Lake City, UT and back. The scenery was so beautiful and interesting I wanted to copy a few frames from my dash cam to send to friends. But scrolling through 60 hours of windshield time to find specific things was so onerous. Fortunately my video player (GOM) allows changing speed smoothly from 0.2x to 12x. It's pretty amazing. Just hold down on the 'C' key and the video speeds up, the road noise, exhaust noise, air noise, etc., all rose in pitch just like accelerating as the scenery flew by. At 12x X 50mph = 600 mph those 50 mph corners through the canyons and around the mountains, as just a passenger are pretty scary. Kind of like a Tie fighter. Even just 70 mph x 12 = 840 mph.
