I just turned 40,000 on my blue GT. I found a much less expensive set of tires. A friend of mine who runs a local shop suggested Delinte tires. I have been running Delinte Thunder D7s. They're about 1/3 the cost of the Michelins. I just ordered my 2nd set. $108 each, shipped. I also finally got the dull, cracked wrap off of the top. That was a mess! It discolored & ruined the paint, so I had to get the top repainted. Unfortunately, when they removed & replaced the windshield, within a week, a crack started making its way across. The takeaway is that you don't want to remove a windshield if there's nothing wrong with it, as they can't guaranty that it won't crack. It's been a rough ride trying to keep this car in good shape! I still have a set of Eibach springs laying on the floor of my shop. I'll let them go pretty cheap if anyone is interested....

Do you run the car as hard on those Delinte tires, and if so, how do they compare? I had some cheap tires on the rear of my G70 3.3T when we bought it and replaced them immediately w/ a set of Continental DWS-06 plus All Seasons, they've been great for All Seasons but am planning on getting a dedicated lightweight 18" summer wheel/tire set for the fun 7 months a year, and if these Delintes perform at 80% of the Michelins at 1/3rd the cost that may be something I'd be willing to try, and at 62 I don't need to burn up tires like back in the day anyhow. And where are you located regarding those springs??
:)
