4 year later... I GOT IT!

After a baby, house, inheriting a failing business, I FINALLY achieved my goal. 2020 GT1 with 15K miles on it. Dealer wanted $41K. gave me $26K for my pickup truck. I also told them to throw in a retro VW shirt they had on there sales rack before i signed the deal LOL, (my friend with me is a big VW fan, gave it to him). It was a lease return, still has some of the plastic film on the dead pedal and sill plates. Now i can stop lurking so much and actually participate. i have a 10 year drivetrain warranty from the dealer, 5 year bumper to bumper through my financing, and whatever is left of the factory warranty, about 3 years..
Future plans: Intakes, Down pipe, some type of tune, wrap the roof.
Unfortunately the local Dragstrip was shut down 2 weeks ago to be turned into warehouses. so guess ill be getting a dragy too.

yeah my understanding is they had their last Test N Tune about 2 weeks ago, there were some youtube vids with said title.
The warehouse construction still hasnt been approved, so the track is kinda in limbo. I'm hoping it gets denied as there was another group that wanted to purchase it and keep it a racetrack, but they didnt bid as much money on the deal.

Anyway, gorgeous color (my second favorite) and the roof wrap will look so fine. I"m getting mine ceramic coated and then it's roof wrap for me too. Post up more pics!!!

I recommend wrapping the roof, then ceramic, otherwise you will have an uncoated roof, and will need to (re)coat it

Congrats man. lol I had my sights set on a stinger as soon as it came out. However I wasn't really in the position to buy a brand new one and there was not many used options (that I wanted). Saved up for 2 years and bought a smashed 2018 GT2 from co part auction. Rebuilt it in about a year and so far have been enjoying it. One good thing about being the warranty is that I can approve any mods I want
