Since I have owned my Stinger I have gone car crazy with research test drives etc. But every time I question myself on "oh maybe I should have looked at that car" or test drive another vehicle, then get back in my Stinger, those thoughts go away quickly.

Anyone who say's 0-60 in 4.6 is not quick is so wrong. My fav part about this car is the acceleration because it puts the power down so quickly! Turning left onto a busy street or merging onto the highway is so much fun! Now that I have put 8000+ miles on the car and have had it for 4 months I fulls know what it can do and with that said I like the car even more now than when I bought it.

The sport mode makes such a huge difference! I didn't think it would in a sports car with this much power, but it does! It takes it to such another level that it is a bit unpleasant when you are just wanting to cruise around time. At highway speeds this thing just keeps pulling! Although most of the sound is coming from inside the cabin, Kia did such a good job.

In terms of features, I have to say, the ventilated seats are soooooo ggooood! I have driven lots of cars that have it where it doesn't work well at all. The infotainment works very well, although the look of the tablet kind of stuck on the dash is not my fav.

Overall, this car is such the perfect everyday car for every purpose. Once I start adding to the performance this car may be the best car on the market for its price.

Had my Stinger 4 months also and couldn’t agree more. Best bang for your buck anywhere.

I have a similar feeling about my Stinger, after over a year with it I haven't even remotely grown tired of driving it or looking at it. I have zero regrets even though it was a bit of a mental hurdle for me to buy a KIA. I sometimes go out to the garage to check the oil and just find myself standing there admiring it, I hope my wife doesn't get jealous.

I'm well over a year and 17k miles. I've taken care of the hatch rattle with the simple washer solution and it's just fine. Only complaint is the creaking which is due to the panoramic sunroof, there are a few fixes to that I need to try. But all in all, this car has exceeded my expectations especially for a self confessed brand snob. I was hesitant with this car b/c "it's a KIA". Power, styling, practicality for everyday use (i have 2 kids/carseats), I don't regret the decision. Although I do sometimes have thoughts of that S5 sportback, but it seems smaller in person than the measurements on C/D.

I'm with you on this - 4 months and 5000 miles in, I am IN LOVE. I never have the music low enough to hear the pano issues, however I do hear them when it is low.

Aside from that I couldn't be happier (well... a few highway rock chips always get me down, but what can you do...)

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

oh man, I have a ton of rock chips out here in SoCal. It seems like every freeway is under construction. Literally 1 month in, I was dogging wood pallets that fell off of a truck and the entire highway was littered in wood pieces.

I’ll be at a year of ownership the end of this month and close to 25k miles. Still loving it. Just replaced the rotors and front pads this past weekend and the sway bars the week before. Love it even more

You drive in a "war zone". I've been traveling down to there for decades. It's only gotten worse. I don't take my eyes off the road for a second and feel the entire time as if my car's life is literally in my hands.

PPF, you guys. Touch up the nicks and get it on there. It's "armor" protection.

I like the car even more now than when I bought it.
Me too, almost sixteen months in. I always enjoyed driving. But this is entirely different from anything I experienced before on all levels.

Agreed among all of my 4 cars the stinger was the best buy and the one that gets the most of my attention and care.20190810_191240.webp

@MerlintheMad I was going to go the ppf route and was roughly a week or so out from my initial appointment when it happened. so I said screw it, I'll just get the ceramic coating/paint correction. I figured I would be wrapping the entire car in a new color anyway - i tend to get gear head ADD...if it's not the engine, I'm playing with the exterior! LOL

Wrapping is such a fascinating temptation. I can't leave it. The best of both worlds: custom "paint job", and the original paint is protected at the same time, at a considerable savings compared to a professional respray.

My Stinger has some quality issues (creaks, rattles, noises) and even though that really does bother me a lot, especially since it hasn't been getting fixed, I must admit if I did sell the car, I don't know what I would replace it with. Cars that (I think) I would like more are just so much more money, and anything less feels like so much less. Anything German I've looked at and would like is easily 20K+ more equally equipped, and anything else in this price range (besides muscle cars) are sporting a normally aspirated V6 at best, that's a lot less power. Plus most other cars in this price range (loaded Camry, etc) are FWD only.

Where this car shines the most for me is winter. At those temperatures, the sunroof is quiet and this car is a comfortable beast. Lots of power, AWD, remote start with heated seats and steering wheel, and it does really warm up the coolant quickly.
