3D Printing Thread?

Hey Everyone-

Is there a thread for 3D printing? If not, can we create one? It would be awesome to share .stl files so others can use, modify and repost them. I have several printers and would be able to print various parts at a time and wouldn't mind sending stuff to those without printers if they just pay the postage and cost of filament, I'm not looking to profit, just help out the community.

For example, I've been wanting to buy the "Devil's Claws" for both the front and rear of my 18' GT-1 for quite some time now, however, I just can't warrant the ridiculous prices online retailers are asking for them along with some not having great reviews.

Today, I'm going to be measuring for the snorkels that I want to print and it would be nice to share the file so others can use them as well without breaking the bank.

The ability to be able to create our own interior and exterior cosmetic and some performance enhancing accessories for a few dollars would be amazing!

If there's a thread already, please link me. If there's not, how do we request a new thread section?

I use tverse a ton but they don't really have much for the Stinger. Hence, why I wanted to start a 3D printing thread.

I did. I actually printed the Galaxy S21 phone stand about a month back. It came out really nice. I check there often but can never find the things I'm looking for. I just created a 3D printing thread.

The link I posted has Stinger files in it, not Samsung...

I think it's a great idea to have a 3D printing thread.

Thingiverse's search is notoriously bad (although all my speaker pods/adapters do show up). I thnk this thread would be a good place to share models and discuss them.

There are files on thingverse for the snorkles. I have printed them

Ignore the odd color. My son had an idea that if I made the tips clear I can do a color change based on how hard I press the pedal.

I was saying that I had printed a Samsung mount for my Stinger that I found on tverse. I browse there frequently. Have you seen the "Devil's Claws" anywhere on any site? I've been trying to find the .stl files for them for the front and rear.

I agree. Tverse is great and all, however, not for vehicle-specific parts.
