I've seen a thread about 3d printed snorkels (great job btw). Have any of you 3D printed or created other parts for your Stingers?
Phone support adapters for central console, pieces to help reduice squeaks and others annoying noises, aerodynamics or aesthetic parts...
If i find or conceive any intersting parts i'll gladly share with you.

The OEM air intake setup is highly restrictive so give your beast the fresh cool air it needs! But why pay more for less? The mouth on these air scoops dwarfs the competition while still maintaining a stylish yet mean look behind the grill. Don't mistake the lower price for inferior quality...

My point was more on enhancing the look or adding some functionality to the car. I like to print pieces that glow in the dark for example. Here cops have no tolerance with parts that enhance the car performance, noise...
With only 1 week in the car, i'm too new to have already found many ideas.

How is a cop going to know if you have parts that enhance performance? Lol

If you have an accident, the car is taken back to the mechanic and often their is a police investigation to see if the car is stock. If not the police it's the insurance company that always ask an expert to diagnose the car, even for light accidents. So even if you're not responsible you'll end with problems : no more insurance and you must tell the others insurance what you've done, must make the car stock again... changing tire sizes or lowering for example may not let you pass your mandatory control every 2 years.

You gotta love cars here to have a sport car. Everybody think to MPG, the government give you money if you buy an electric... the Stinger is more like a dinosaur or a bad guys car. Sad country for car enthusiasts...

I guess durability would be the concern but I could try it and test it out. Do you know how they are fixed in place?

It can also be printed to stay in place if you push it deep enough in the hole. It would remove the need to unscrew anything. I think ABS should be hard enough. Could also be a cool place to add a Stinger logo.

Got the STL for the snorkel? I printed up the two piece set but could not find a stl for a one piece.
